About the Team

The Sr Manager, Order to Cash will be part of the IT Business Technologies team based in San Jose, CA. Our team thrives in a collaborative and agile environment, where innovation and continuous improvement are at the forefront of our mission at Nutanix. We are dedicated to optimizing the Order-to-Cash lifecycle to deliver an exceptional customer experience while embracing cutting-edge technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.

You will report to the Director, Order to Cash, who fosters a supportive and empowering leadership style, encouraging team members to take initiative and drive transformational projects. This role is hybrid, requiring the new hire to be on-site a few days a week to facilitate collaboration and engagement with team members and stakeholders.

There are no required travel commitments for this role, allowing you to focus on delivering high-impact results within the office and remotely as needed.

Your Role

  • Own and optimize the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process for all product offerings, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Drive and manage O2C project lifecycles, overseeing complex order flows and prioritizing initiatives based on business needs.
  • Lead digital transformation efforts by implementing AI, ML, and RPA solutions to enhance operational efficiency and forecasting capabilities.
  • Provide system ownership for the O2C technology stack, managing integrations between key platforms (CRM, ERP, Billing).
  • Define and monitor team performance metrics against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent delivery excellence.
  • Act as the escalation point for all business initiatives and stakeholder concerns, facilitating conflict resolution and decision-making.
  • Mentor and develop the team, promoting continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies within the O2C stream.
  • Deliver insightful Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for executive stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain Operations.

What You Will Bring

  • 12+ years of experience in managing and implementing Order-to-Cash systems in fast-paced SaaS environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Tier 1 ERPs (NetSuite, Oracle ERP, SAP) and key O2C platforms (Salesforce, Zuora).
  • Proven leadership in digital transformation projects involving AI, ML, and RPA deployment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaborative relationship-building skills across functions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in creating executive-level presentations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities with conflict resolution and active listening skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $174,400 and USD $349,200 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
