This is a 12-week paid internship working a minimum of 3 days per week from our San Jose, CA office. The internship will start in May 2026.

About the Team


At Nutanix, you'll be joining the Planning Team, which is an essential part of our Supply Chain Operations. This dynamic team consists of about 60 members in Supply Chain Ops, with 5 dedicated professionals in Planning. Our culture emphasizes collaboration and innovation, as we are responsible for managing the flow of materials and products to meet customer demand. By working closely with various functions across the company, including Sales, Operations, and Finance, our Planning Team ensures accurate forecasting and effective inventory management. We strive to optimize supply chain processes that not only reduce costs but also enhance customer satisfaction, all while aligning with Nutanix's strategic initiatives and supporting our configure-to-order model.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Planning, who fosters an inclusive and supportive environment conducive to professional growth. The work setup is hybrid, which allows you to work in the office three days a week while providing flexibility for remote work. As for travel requirements, this role does not require any travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work-life balance while contributing to the team's success.

Your Role

  • Develop and oversee demand forecasts and supply plans for Nutanix's configure-to-order model, ensuring alignment with customer demand.
  • · Manage commodity flow, scheduling, and analysis to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • · Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Sales, Operations, and Finance-to drive strategic initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • · Create perspectives and analytics that tell a story, complimenting and/or supporting Planning efforts related to product launch, transition, adoption, and end of sale.

What You Will Bring

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 24 and USD $ 31 per hour.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
