The Opportunity
As the Global Services Sales Leader, you will be responsible for defining and executing a worldwide go-to-market strategy for Nutanix’s Professional Services portfolio, which includes Consulting, Resident Services, Technical Account Managers (TAMs), and Education Services.
Reporting to the Global Head of Professional Services, you will lead a global organization with four Director-level reports covering the three geographic theaters (Americas, EMEA, and APAC) and Services Sales Enablement & Operations. You will collaborate closely with field product sales, channel and alliance partners, and product leadership to drive services that lead to customer success outcomes — ensuring that every engagement maximizes value and minimizes implementation risk.
This role requires an exceptional executive communicator and negotiator, skilled in building C-level relationships, leading complex deal cycles, and influencing decision-makers across large global enterprises. It also requires the ability to build and sustain a high-performing team collaborates with the product sales team and the services delivery team.
Requirements & Qualifications
● Own and exceed global Professional Services sales targets, including services renewals and expansion bookings, and attach rates with product sales.
● Lead a global organization with four Director-level leaders overseeing Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Sales Enablement & Operations.
● Define and execute a scalable, outcome-focused go-to-market strategy for Professional Services — including offerings, pricing, packaging, sales plays, partner strategy, and enablement.
● Partner closely with Nutanix product sales teams to identify and close large, complex services opportunities that minimize customer risk and drive successful adoption.
● Develop and strengthen relationships with executive-level customer stakeholders, articulating Nutanix’s value proposition for Professional Services and negotiating agreements that drive customer success and long-term partnerships.
● Collaborate deeply with channel and alliance partners to expand Professional Services coverage, co-develop joint offerings, and enable partner-led services growth.
● Build, motivate, and coach a high-performing, globally distributed services sales team.
● Establish and monitor key performance metrics, including pipeline health, quote-to-close ratio, and services renewal and growth rates.
● Drive global consistency in sales execution while empowering regional flexibility and responsiveness.
● Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to align service offerings with Nutanix’s roadmap and business priorities.
● Represent Nutanix at executive customer meetings, industry events, and partner briefings, showcasing the strategic value of Professional Services.
● Manage organizational planning, forecasting, and budget allocation across global and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
● 15+ years of quota-carrying sales and/or business development experience in technology or IT services, with 5+ years in a senior global or regional sales leadership role.
● Demonstrated success selling Professional Services — including Consulting, Education, Resident, or TAM services — into large enterprise accounts.
● Proven expertise in executive-level communication, including leading C-level negotiations, delivering strategic presentations, and building long-term customer trust.
● Strong track record in complex deal negotiation, contract structuring, and value-based selling in enterprise environments.
● Experience leading multi-theater global teams with regional directors or equivalent leadership structure.
● Deep experience collaborating with product sales teams and channel/partner ecosystems to drive joint opportunities and expand reach.
● Strategic thinker and hands-on leader capable of balancing vision, execution, and operational rigor.
● Deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, hybrid/multicloud architectures, and the role of Professional Services in enabling customer transformation.
● Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
● Willingness and ability to travel (including internationally) up to ~50%.

● Experience driving Professional Services sales through channel and alliance partners.
● Track record of achieving global consistency and local market agility.
● Experience in Professional Services sales for software-defined infrastructure, cloud, or hybrid IT companies.
● Familiarity with outcome-based or value-based Professional Services models.
Work Arrangement: Remote
This role can be remote or in a hybrid capacity. Should the role be within 50 miles of a Nutanix office, it will require coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
FOR US - The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ and USD $ per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
