About Novellia

Novellia is the first and only company that lets anyone in the US gain access to decades of their health data in under 30 seconds, 100% free. All your health records, across doctors, all in one place, always up to date.

We work with the world's top researchers to safely turn health insights into life-changing action for millions of people across the world.

Novellia is the only patient-powered real world data platform delivering comprehensive, patient-authorized longitudinal health insights to accelerate biopharma innovation. Unlike traditional RWD providers who provide fragmented institutional data, we empower patients to access 15+ years of their health records for free, then transform these complete health journeys into fit-for-purpose datasets for evidence generation, regulatory submissions, and market access. We're growing 5x YoY with top pharma partners, our data have been published with leading scientific organizations such as ASCO and SABCS/AACR, and are backed by tier-1 investors including Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, Bling Capital, and more.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Lead to serve as a leader on our commercial team, owning the end-to-end delivery of real-world data and analytics solutions for our life sciences customers. This is not a traditional project management role; it is a strategic, client-facing position that requires deep scientific fluency, sharp business judgment, and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional work with minimal direction.

You will be the connective tissue between our clients and our internal teams; translating ambiguous research questions into executable solutions, driving alignment across data science, engineering, product, and sales, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on the client side. You will also play a meaningful role in shaping how Novellia scales its commercial operations, helping build the playbooks and processes that a growing team will run on.

This is where you come in

We're a growing team tackling complex problems in healthcare data. We move quickly, prioritize impact, and take pride in doing things right. The truth is: this is a demanding job. It requires focus, urgency, and deep client accountability. If you're looking for a predictable environment with clear boundaries, this isn't the right fit.

The ideal candidate has seen enough of the biopharma research landscape to know what good looks like and is energized by the challenge of building something better. You operate independently, earn trust quickly, and can hold a room with a pharma VP just as comfortably as you can dig into a data spec with an engineer.

You are comfortable with ambiguity and able to work efficiently and creatively to solve problems while maintaining a commitment to quality and client-first thinking. If you are inspired by solving interesting problems, building something from scratch, and working collaboratively across multiple stakeholders to build best-in-class real-world evidence solutions, you'll find the challenge deeply rewarding.

How you'll spend your time at Novellia

  • Lead project scoping and delivery end-to-end across multiple concurrent client engagements, including scoping, execution, and quality review of complex real-world datasets and registries

  • Own all client-facing workstreams, including leading calls, managing escalations, proactively surfacing risks, and ensuring clients feel consistently supported and informed

  • Drive internal cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, product) to deliver on commitments, removing blockers and making judgment calls when trade-offs arise

  • Build and refine standardized delivery frameworks, SOPs, and project templates that improve consistency and efficiency across the commercial portfolio

  • Partner closely with sales to scope new opportunities, develop proposals, and represent Novellia's solutions capabilities in client conversations

  • Serve as a senior scientific and strategic voice in pitch meetings, helping prospective clients understand what is possible with Novellia's data and how to design studies that will hold up to scrutiny

  • Contribute to pricing and scoping decisions, drawing on delivery experience to ground commercial proposals in operational reality

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the solutions team

You will love this role if

  • You're a generalist who goes deep when it matters. You have enough science background to hold a rigorous conversation about study design, biomarkers, or data quality and enough business instinct to know when the right answer is "let's keep it simple." You're not intimidated by ambiguity; you find it interesting.

  • You lead from the front in client relationships. Senior pharma stakeholders trust you quickly because you combine scientific credibility with clear communication and consistent follow-through. You don't wait to be asked — you anticipate what clients need and get ahead of it.

  • You run toward hard problems. When a project hits a wall, you're the person who figures out a path forward. You're resourceful, calm under pressure, and know how to rally a cross-functional team around a solution without a lot of hand-holding.

Requirements

Experience & Expertise

  • 6-8 years of experience in client-facing roles in biopharma consulting, real-world data analytics, life sciences strategy, or a closely related field

  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects from scoping through delivery

  • Strong scientific foundation (life sciences, public health, or related field) with the ability to engage credibly on real-world study design and data quality, without needing to be a domain expert in every indication

  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders

  • Fluency operating across both technical (data science, engineering) and non-technical (commercial, clinical, regulatory) audiences

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives

  • Experience building or improving operational processes in a fast-moving environment

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, public health, or a related field; advanced degree a plus but not required

  • Passion for improving patient outcomes through data-driven research and evidence generation
