Are you looking for a key role in helping an ambitious and established start-up face the global supply chain blockage? Are you ready to support the growth of a dynamic Polish company across Europe? Do you have plenty of ideas on how to design an agile purchasing process from scratch?
If your answers are mostly yes, then you should keep reading.
Nomagic, a Polish AI Robotics company, is seeking a visionary Senior Procurement Manager to spearhead the development of strategic partnerships and establish a robust procurement framework to support the company's ambitious European and USA expansion. The ideal candidate will be a key player in scaling Nomagic's operations from 50 to 500 robotic station implementations annually.
This pivotal role will involve shaping the company's procurement strategy from the ground up, with a focus on forging alliances with large-scale suppliers and integrator companies capable of developing and deploying Nomagic's cutting-edge robotic solutions. The Senior Procurement Manager will also be responsible for enhancing and developing procurement-related processes across the organization, including the implementation of an ERP system and warehouse management protocols.
We are on a mission to teach robots the real world, and we're looking for a leader who can build a world-class supply chain to help us achieve that. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to make a significant impact on the growth and success of a dynamic company in the burgeoning field of AI and robotics.

Offer essentials:

  • Play with robots every day
  • Salary: 22,000 - 30,000 gross UoP/net B2B per month plus equity
  • Relocation package
  • Truly flexible working hours
  • English-speaking environment

Here is why we love this job ourselves, and hope you will enjoy it too:

  • We build robots powered by AI, and they require a lot of parts that we need to buy somewhere
  • We constantly iterate on our products, so there is something new to find on the market every day
  • We’re still pretty small, so everyone has a direct impact on the final result
  • We have a very experienced engineering & management team from Google, early unicorns (Criteo, Climate Corp...) & top robotics companies (ABB, Softbank Robotics, Dematic)
  • We combine world-class research with top-notch engineering and apply it to solve real problems

Some of the problems you may try to solve with us:

  • Strategy and Scaling: Collaborate with top-level management to develop and execute a procurement strategy that enables the scaling of robotic station deployments from 50 to 500 units per year.
  • Strategic Sourcing and Partnerships: Develop and execute strategies for identifying and securing partnerships with key suppliers, including integrator companies, to support the widespread implementation of Nomagic's robotic solutions around the world.
  • Process Development and Improvement: Design and implement agile and scalable procurement processes, including the implementation of a company-wide ERP system and the establishment of efficient warehouse management practices.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of suppliers, from commercial parts vendors to complex robotic solutions providers, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze procurement costs, identify opportunities for savings, and ensure alignment with the company's budgetary goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other teams to align procurement activities with product development, project timelines, and overall company objectives.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that procured materials and components meet company quality standards and engineering specifications.
  • Purchasing Operations: Participate in purchasing planning and operations to ensure flawless robot deployments on our road to scale.

What skills we’d like you to have:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a procurement role within a technology-focused environment, preferably with a manufacturer of special machines, a robotics company, or in sourcing for complex, customized solutions.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies hand in hand with company management. ERP system implementation and warehouse management are strong pluses.
  • A strong track record of negotiating and managing relationships with large-scale suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics-related industry markets, practices, and products.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and a passion for building processes from the ground up.
