At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world.
We’re now looking for a Robot QA Specialist, who will be responsible for testing new features, picking up bugs in releases and running daily stability tests.

Offer essentials:

  • Play with robots every day
  • Salary: Mandate / B2B contract: 29/31/32 PLN/hour gross (depending on the shift)
  • Truly flexible working hours within a monthly schedule
  • English-speaking environment
  • Location: Warsaw, Rakowiecka street (it's not a remote job)

Here is why we love this job ourselves and hope you will enjoy it too:

  • We build robots powered by AI
  • We already have them in production
  • We test our code in unit tests, simulations and on real robots! (that’s where you come in!)
  • We’re still pretty small, so everyone has a direct impact on the final result
  • We have a very experienced engineering & management team from Google, early unicorns (Criteo, Climate Corp...) & top robotics companies (ABB, Softbank Robotics, Dematic)
  • We combine world-class research with top-notch engineering and apply it to solve real problems

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the robot's performance: Perform tests following clear guidelines and provide feedback on the results
  • Understand basic robot features: Operate robot functions like manual jogging, using the HMI (Human-Machine Interface), restarting the station, and handling tools like the robot controller, ATI box, and redeployment tasks
  • Identify and fix minor issues: Resolve small issues such as exchanging or cleaning suction cups, resetting the vacuum pump or cameras, and reporting damages to your Team Lead or On-call when necessary
  • Collaborate and escalate: Work with Lab Robot Operators and Engineers to address problems, providing clear descriptions of issues and the steps already taken to resolve them
  • Understand the station layout: Become familiar with the production setup and its purpose to ensure smooth evaluations.
  • No prior technical experience? No problem! You'll receive training to succeed in this role.

What skills we’d like you to have:

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Practical knowledge of Google Workspace tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn new things
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience with QA and/or robotics is appreciated but not required

What we expect from you:

  • Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including weekends
  • No student status (due to contract requirements for trips abroad).
  • Willingness and ability to travel abroad for on-site assignments with clients.

What should you expect once you apply?

  • The hiring process consists of two meetings:
  • The first meeting (15–30 minutes): Focused on general information about the position and a discussion to determine if our needs align with yours
  • The second meeting (30-45 minutes): Aimed at evaluating the skills listed in the job description
  • Final step: a request to provide the hiring manager with at least one reference contact from your previous role.
