Location: US, New York/New Jersey area, with frequent travel around the US - this position is remote but must live in the NY/NJ area.

Summary of the role:

The US Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of the marketing plans in the US as well as leading and developing the US marketing activation team. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution - ensuring alignment with the global brand strategy while enabling effective local activation. The US Marketing Manager will own the US marketing plans and budget, working closely with the sales team, commercial strategy team and design team as well as external partners, to deliver measurable impact while fostering a data-driven approach to maximize ROI and market acceleration. All to strengthen the N!CK’S brand’s presence across the US.

Travel: The role will be expected to travel frequently across the US.

Areas of responsibility:

Strategy, planning and execution:

  • Create the annual US marketing plan, aligned with the global brand and marketing strategy.
  • Own and manage the US marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI.
  • Lead the execution of the US marketing plans together with the marketing activation team and external partners.
  • Lead our US sampling program together with the activation manager utilizing various channels to reach influencers and consumers.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are positioned to drive Nick’s with the target consumer, fostering loyalty and community engagement.
  • Enable the US sales team to effectively commercialize our marketing plans with retailers.
  • Stay on top of market and category trends as well as leverage data and insights to anticipate shifts, uncover opportunities that keep us ahead of the competition.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and develop the marketing activation team in the US
  • Lead the student ambassador program team.
  • Create and implement structure and processes for effective cross-functional collaboration internally and with external partners.

Analytics & ROI:

  • Analyze the impact of marketing activations across markets.
  • Drive a strong ROI and data-driven mindset, continuously optimizing marketing campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CPG, preferably with a background in marketing, brand management, or project management.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to set, track, and follow up on KPIs.
  • Highly organized, able to independently manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to drive large-scale initiatives across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Open to frequent travel across the US and comfortable working across global teams and time zones.
