Summary of the role:

The EU Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of the marketing plans across our European markets as well as leading and developing the EU marketing activation team. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution - ensuring alignment with the global brand strategy while enabling effective local activation. The EU Marketing Manager will own the EU marketing plans and budget, working closely with the sales, commercial strategy, design, and external partners to deliver measurable impact while fostering a data-driven approach to maximize ROI and market impact. All to strengthen the N!CK’S brand’s presence across Europe.

Travel: The role will be expected to travel frequently across Europe and in Sweden.

Areas of responsibility:

Strategy, planning and execution:

  • Create marketing plans across European markets, aligned with the global brand and marketing strategy.
  • Own and manage the EU marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and ROI.
  • Lead execution of marketing plans across Europe together with the marketing activation team and distributors.
  • Work closely with external partners in different European markets to ensure local execution of marketing plans.
  • Lead our European sampling program together with the activation manager utilizing various channels to reach influencers and consumers.
  • Enable the EU sales team and distributors to commercialize our marketing plans with retailers.
  • Monitor market and category trends through continuous communication and regular visits to key European markets.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and develop the marketing activation team in Europe (1-2 people)
  • Create and implement structure and processes for effective cross-functional collaboration internally and with distributors.

Analytics & ROI:

  • Analyze the impact of marketing activations across markets.
  • Drive a strong ROI and data-driven mindset, continuously optimizing campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CPG, preferably with a background in marketing, brand management, or project management.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to set, track, and follow up on KPIs.
  • Highly organized, able to independently manage multiple priorities, projects, and timelines.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to drive large-scale initiatives across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and verbal).
  • Open to frequent travel within Europe, and comfortable working across global teams and time zones.
