Meet Your Future Neighbors

As a Third-party Measurement Manager at Nextdoor, you’ll leverage in-depth industry and company knowledge to develop Nextdoor’s measurement partnerships strategy and provide actionable data-driven insights for Nextdoor’s customers (advertisers). In this role, you’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to demonstrate the value of Nextdoor to our customers through partner solutions. For certain solutions, you may also analyze proprietary and third-party data to provide insights on specific customer’s advertising performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • You’ll develop and own the strategy for how Nextdoor uses measurement and data partnerships to differentiate itself from other advertising platforms, as well as determine the best solutions across our global markets (mainly the US and UK)
  • You’ll take the lead in evaluating new/existing measurement and data partners
  • You’ll cultivate Nextdoor’s relationships with our current measurement and data partners
  • You’ll collaborate with internal and external partners to drive measurement adoption through overviews, trainings, case studies, incentive packages, and joint press releases
  • You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to design and implement effective solutions for customers
  • You’ll communicate complex quantitative data and and research results to both technical and general audiences, as well as key business stakeholders, and ensure findings are effectively applied
  • Depending on team needs, you may also:
    • Leverage data-driven insights to provide support during all phases of the sales cycle
    • Conduct in-depth analysis on how advertisements are performing on Nextdoor
    • Develop dashboards, templates, and tools that allow the Sales team to share actionable insights with all of Nextdoor’s customers
    • Evaluate existing data to identify and build localized audiences based on advertiser demand
  • Participate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
  • Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values

What You’ll Bring to The Team

  • 6-8 years demonstrated experience and performance in a fast-paced work environment such as a fast-growing digital advertising agency, technology company or consulting firm
  • Digital programmatic ads experience in the US/UK/EU
  • Knowledge of first and third party data and measurement ecosystem and experience working with a range of measurement partners in the US/UK/EU
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data sets (with spreadsheets, data visualization tools like Tableau/Looker/PowerBI or analytics tools like Jupyter notebooks) to understand patterns and provide insights
  • Strong understanding of field experiment design, survey sampling, and statistical significance
  • Experience communicating technical content to all types of audiences
  • You’re deeply curious about how to empower neighbors to strengthen their communities, how local businesses enhance their communities, and about what makes different neighborhoods around the globe thrive.
  • Preferred:
    • Familiarity with data extraction tools such as SQL and statistical software such as R, Matlab, Stata, SPSS, and SAS
    • Familiarity with EU specific data regulations and their implications (e.g., GDPR)
    • Background in quantitative fields such as analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, and the physical sciences

Rewards

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $140,000 to $175,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
