Join Optimizely as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist dedicated to building world-class Engineering and Product teams. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate, technically minded recruiter who understands the software development lifecycle, speaks the language of engineers and product managers, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You will have the autonomy to spearhead recruiting initiatives across our global engineering and product organizations, cultivate strategic partnerships with technical hiring leaders, and deliver candidate experiences that attract the best talent in the industry.
This role will oversee the EMEA and US region, working EMEA hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle technical recruiting — from sourcing through onboarding — for Engineering and Product roles, ensuring a seamless and efficient candidate journey.
- Deliver a 10/10 candidate experience by maintaining transparent, timely communication and genuine engagement throughout every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Partner deeply with engineering managers, directors, and product leaders to understand team roadmaps, technical skill requirements, and hiring priorities, then translate those needs into targeted recruiting strategies.
- Leverage AI and automation to streamline recruiting workflows, improve candidate matching, and generate data-driven insights that continuously raise the hiring bar.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring teams, providing market intelligence on engineering and product talent landscapes, compensation benchmarks, and competitive positioning.
Knowledge and Experience
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a demonstrable track record of hiring software engineers, product managers, and other technical roles.
- Deep familiarity with engineering and product disciplines — you can credibly discuss topics like system design, agile methodologies, cloud infrastructure, and product strategy with candidates and hiring managers.
- Demonstrated interest in — or hands-on experience with — AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted sourcing, conversational AI for screening, predictive analytics) to enhance and modernize recruitment processes.
- 2+ years of experience working with SuccessFactors or comparable ATS/recruiting platforms, with a commitment to staying current with emerging HR technologies.
- Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms used to engage passive technical talent.
- Strong consultative mindset — you enjoy partnering with internal stakeholders, offering data-backed insights, and fostering a collaborative hiring culture.
- Experience recruiting across multiple geographies and navigating the nuances of international technical hiring is a plus.
