Introduction
The Opal Enablement Manager will design and deliver high-impact enablement programs that empower Optimizely’s go-to-market teams to confidently position, sell, and support Opal. This role will lead the creation of content, live and digital training, and certification paths that drive understanding and adoption of Opal across Sales, SDR, CSM, and Solution roles. While focused on internal GTM readiness, the role will collaborate closely with the Partner Enablement team to ensure alignment of messaging and materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Opal enablement programs that equip all GTM roles; Sales, SDR, CSM, Solution Architects, and Marketing—with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to position and demonstrate Opal effectively.
- Develop and maintain the Opal curriculum across new-hire onboarding, continuous learning, and advanced certification tracks, ensuring content remains up to date with new releases, product capabilities, and positioning.
- Leverage Opal as both a subject and a tool for enablement, showcasing how AI agents, workflows, and tools can accelerate content creation, research, and training delivery.
- Create engaging learning experiences that blend instructor-led sessions, digital courses, micro-learning, and real-world application tasks using live Opal environments.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Strategy and Product Marketing to translate complex Opal concepts, such as agents, tools, workflows, and context enrichment into clear, audience-specific training modules.
- Partner with the Partner Enablement teams to align frameworks, maintain content consistency, and ensure internal GTM enablement complements partner education.
- Facilitate hands-on Opal workshops that teach sellers and CSMs how to demonstrate Opal in action, from launching agents in CMS or CMP to using workflows for experimentation.
- Measure enablement impact through participation, certification rates, confidence scores, attach rate lift, and influence on pipeline or win rate.
- Maintain a single source of truth for GTM Opal enablement materials in the Academy and enablement hubs, ensuring resources are discoverable, version-controlled, and embedded within everyday workflows.
- Coordinate with Product teams before each major release to refresh internal training and produce “What’s New in Opal” sessions and resources.
- Act as an Opal champion across the business, modeling usage, mentoring peers, and promoting best practices that demonstrate real productivity and collaboration benefits.
- Continuously improve the enablement experience by gathering feedback from GTM learners and applying data-driven insights to iterate content, structure, and delivery methods.
- Travel up to 50% for customer meetings, field enablement sessions, and internal workshops.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, enablement, or a customer-facing role within a SaaS environment.
- Strong background in developing and delivering training programs for GTM teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience creating content using standard enablement and learning tools; familiarity with AI learning tools or platforms preferred.
- Instructional design experience or relevant certification a plus.
Base Salary: $86,915 - $160,767
