Introduction

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing role requires a creative, collaborative, and data-driven individual to take Optimizely's story global. This person will empower marketing, growth, and digital teams worldwide by showcasing how our suite of market-leading solutions support the entire content lifecycle—from ideation through execution and beyond. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will act as a unifying force internally across key teams, and crafting compelling customer-facing messaging that transforms innovative ideas into impactful strategies and scalable global solutions. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on content creation, and team leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of product marketers while serving as an impactful individual contributor yourself.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-impact go-to-market materials, serving a variety of teams across marketing, sales, customer success and more
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep product knowledge across Optimizely's content solutions (CMP, CMS, DAM, Opal AI) and act as a customer advocate.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Partner with key cross-functional and cross-business unit executive teams to ensure alignment of Product Marketing functions with all business areas.
  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling positioning and messaging for diverse audiences and target segments, emphasizing the value of CMP, CMS, and Opal AI.
  • Marketing Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing plans, including campaigns and activities to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Market Analysis: Deeply understand market needs, developing differentiated messaging and positioning.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with key Enablement, GTM, and Customer Success teams to provide training and resources that empower sales teams to effectively communicate the value of our content solutions

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B product marketing or solutions marketing, ideally in SaaS.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a small team.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience with content marketing platforms (CMP), content management systems (CMS), or digital asset management software (DAM) a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
