As an Executive Engagement Strategist at Databricks, you will be a strategic leader responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving high-impact executive engagement experiences for our most important customers and prospects. You will play a key role as part of our GTM Executive Engagement team as we continue to build world class programs. This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring close collaboration with Sales, Field Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Facilities to drive business outcomes, accelerate product adoption, and deepen executive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development & Delivery
    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Field Engineering and Industry leaders to develop compelling, business-outcome-focused briefing materials, including presentations, demos, and case studies.
    • Create and maintain a Content management system that supports
    • Develop and maintain a speaker bureau aligned to content materials that promotes efficient use of executives time while ensuring the highest level of engagement with customers
    • Deliver engaging presentations to executive audiences, adapting messaging to industry, vertical, and customer priorities.
    • Support the Executive Engagement team leadership in enhancing and improving our content and demo offerings based on customer feedback and observations in EBCs.
    • Identify and recommend solutions for gaps in the EBC content offerings.
    • Evaluate the impact of EBC agendas and develop repeatable best practices for delivering effective customer engagements.
  • Scale and Maintain Executive Sponsor Program
    • Execute and continuously improve the newly created Executive Sponsor Program
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Executive Sponsors, providing coaching, materials, and support necessary for successful engagement execution.
    • Monitor and track the success of Executive Sponsor engagements using defined metrics (e.g., meeting frequency, pipeline influence, customer health scores), providing regular reports to leadership.
    • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to strategically identify, nominate, and match appropriate Executive Sponsors with high-value accounts.
  • EBC Program Management
    • Develop and maintain best practices, playbooks, and operational frameworks for consistent, high-quality delivery.
    • Gain an understanding of various partner offerings that enhance the Datrabricks portfolio.
    • Keep up to date with the developments in Datrabricks solutions through training and collaborating closely with product, field engineering, and enablement teams.

What We Look For

  • 6+ years of experience in creating and executing executive briefings, meetings management, executive programs, sales enablement or high-touch B2B customer engagement within a technology or enterprise software company
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs and multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Significant customer facing experience particularly at the C-suite level
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging with C-level executives
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and communicate the value of Databricks’ solutions portfolio
  • Experience advising on and developing business-outcome-focused content and agendas for executive audiences
  • Highly collaborative, with a track record of working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills; metrics-driven and detail-oriented
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering world-class experiences and building trusted relationships
  • Creative problem solver and self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and meeting management tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support EBCs and executive events in key locations

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
