We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple projects across diverse teams. Your primary focus will be on developing efficient processes, executing effective strategies, leading process development for New Product Introduction, and leading/developing the engineering team in our Electrode Department.
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in researching and developing innovative products. You will also be responsible for creating project budgets and overseeing their successful execution throughout the year. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, maintaining a high level of quality, and achieving the targeted product performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of engineers and oversee their work on various projects.
- Lead the technical implementation of New Product Introductions.
- Collaborate with e-chem R&D and Cell Design teams to ensure successful implementation from ideation to mass production.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, develop and grow engineers in their career progression.
- Create, review and approve product and equipment designs and specifications.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in engineering technology
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering management, with focus on product launch and manufacturing.
- Strong process engineering, process automation, and process improvement experience.
- Equipment design, commissioning, validation, and optimization experience.
- Proven experience leading New Product Introduction projects, including creation of product specifications, process development and validation project plans, training and documentation packages, and process control documents.
- Proficiency in data analysis to interpret and draw insights from complex data sets.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Quality Control methods, Measurement System Analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring techniques.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for calculations, modeling, and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, process, and manufacturing engineering principles and best practices.
- Experience creating and releasing manufacturing documentation, including Process Flow Maps (Value Stream Maps), DFAM, DFMEA, Control Plans, and DVP&R.
- Experience with DOE creation, execution, and analysis.
- Preferred experience with statistical analysis software (Minitab or JMP)
- Preferred experience with film or slurry coating, vacuum processing, battery electrode, or roll-to-roll web converting.
Compensation/Pay Transparency:
- Base Salary is determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data, and other legitimate business reasons, including, but not limited to, compliance with applicable immigration law prevailing wages.
