CONTRACT – PART-TIME

Located in Cupertino, CA, your technical writing skill will help fund the development of Mojo’s next-generation µLED displays.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Mojo Vision is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Government Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our SVP of Government Business Development by writing the technical sections of government proposals. This person will help create winning Government proposals by explaining Mojo’s technology advantages and drafting work plans, milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Become knowledgeable on Mojo’s existing technologies, roadmaps and products.
  • Clearly and concisely write up sections on Mojo’s technologies.
  • Precisely follow directions in government solicitations.
  • Draft, clear, concise, and compelling technical sections of proposals, with supporting documentation, for government funding.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (SME) and Principal Investigators (PI) to gather technical and operational information for inclusion in proposals.
  • Support post-submission activities, including technical responses and scope of work modifications.
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (PhD preferred) in technical discipline (such as EE, ME, CE, Material Science, Physics) with relevant experience.
  • 3+ years experience in technical writing, preferably in a government or grant-related environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with proposal technical writing, specifically the development of milestone-based work plans.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
