Role Overview:
Mojo Vision is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test and Measurement Engineer to
join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our engineering
efforts by focusing on data acquisition, characterization, and analysis for our cutting-edge
optoelectronic devices. If you have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, hands-on
experience with lab equipment, and a proficiency in Python programming, we encourage you to

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, setup, and execution of experiments for data acquisition related to epi wafer defects, LIV (Light-Current-Voltage) characteristics, and LED device characterization for display and optical interconnect applications.
- Perform image processing and analysis on acquired data to identify and quantify defects and performance parameters.
- Operate and maintain a variety of test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, Source Measure Units (SMUs), and other specialized instruments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Python scripts for automated data acquisition, instrument control, and data analysis.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, process, and device engineering teams to understand testing requirements and provide timely, accurate data.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings clearly and concisely.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methodologies and equipment.
- The individual will also be involved in using custom software to collect, analyze, and store the data in a relational database, and will also contribute to analyzing and presenting the data to the process and design team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with fundamental electrical engineering concepts and semiconductor device physics.
- Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and Source Measure Units (SMUs).
- Proficiency in Python programming for data acquisition, automation, and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with wafer-level testing and probe stations.
- Basic understanding of image processing techniques and libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Familiarity with statistical data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
