Senior Optoelectronic Test Technician, Color Conversion Technology

FULL-TIME – SWING SHIFT (3PM-11PM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

This is a Senior Technical Role with broad responsibilities across Mojo's core Color Conversion Technology, spanning the test, reliability, characterization and test equipment of Mojo's LED micro display color conversion efforts. This position will interact with the materials, processes, and devices, as well as the report generation and technology development that occurs in response to that analysis.

Ideally, the person will:

  • Execute processes and characterization on quantum dot films, assemblies, and optical components to further the development of record-breaking color conversion technology.
  • Utilize and maintain custom test equipment to facilitate a deep, data-driven understanding of Mojo's materials and device performance and reliability.
  • Communicate that understanding across the various process modules and designs to drive the key activities that improve performance, yield, and reliability.

This individual will be integral to the color conversion material synthesis, design, process, test, and reliability cross-functional team. They will be immersed in all aspects of the color conversion project.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with semiconductor and optoelectronic processes, equipment, design, and materials, and have extensive experience with optical and electronic test equipment for characterizing them. They will also demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new processes to contribute to the company's understanding of the underlying mechanisms driving performance and failures.

The individual will also be involved in using custom software to collect, analyze and store the data in a relational database, and will also contribute to analyzing and presenting the data to the process and design team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.
  • AS in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields, and 5+ years working in optoelectronic and/or semiconductor device and materials testing or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently during swing shift – 3PM-11PM.
