Optical Test Engineering Lead – uLED Based Data Communications

You will lead the development of test stations for next-generation Data Communication Transceivers for AI infrastructure using Mojo’s unique technology.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define, architect, and implement the test stations needed to develop high-speed uLED-based transceivers.
- Define, architect, and implement the test stations needed for the production of high speed uLED-based transceivers.
- Engage with test equipment vendors and supply chain partners to implement effective production-scale tests.
- Be a cross-functional team mentor and foster team execution excellence.
- Collaborate closely with our LED, Photodetector, and CMOS teams to test the most impactful parameters of the program.
- Develop comprehensive verification plans and coordinate execution of the associated testing.
Qualifications:
- MS in EE or higher, 5+ years’ experience in relevant field.
- Experience working with optical and electronic test equipment, including high-speed
- communications technology.
- Strong background in opto-mechanics and test automation.
- Solid understanding of device physics and manufacturing processes related to detectors and LEDs.
- Mastery of test automation software development using tools like Labview / Python / Matlab.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, high-energy environment with challenging schedules and technologies.

- Prior experience with data communication
- Prior experience acting as test development lead
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience bringing products from development to mass production
