What we are building

Mimica's mission is to empower enterprises, teams, and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource — time and work more efficiently, with greater purpose and impact.

Our AI-powered task mining observes employee actions across the desktop and categorizes them into detailed process maps. Mimica’s process intelligence highlights inefficiencies, prioritizes improvements based on ROI, recommends the optimal technology for automation (RPA, intelligent document processing, GenAI), and provides a blueprint for building new automations and transforming work.

Your mission

As a core member of our Talent team, you’ll take full ownership of hiring for our Delivery department, the operational engine that powers Mimica. You’ll lead high-volume recruiting while also sourcing strategically for newly created roles as the team continues to scale.

This is more than just running processes. You’ll build and nurture talent pipelines, partner closely with hiring managers, and act as a trusted advisor throughout. You’ll also help shape how we attract and engage talent in Costa Rica and contribute to strategic initiatives like interviewer training, early career programs, and employer brand development.

Part of your day-to-day

  • Run full-cycle hiring for Costa Rica-based roles — from establishing success criteria and crafting job ads to sourcing, coordinating interviews, and owning the candidate experience.

  • Partner with hiring teams to define role requirements, run kickoff and calibration sessions, and adjust search strategies based on market signals and feedback.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both high-volume and hard-to-fill roles, including market mapping, personalized outreach, and long-term talent pipelining.

  • Coach hiring teams on evaluation practices, ensuring consistent use of structured interviews and competency frameworks across functions.

  • Lead offer delivery and onboarding coordination, including contract staging, employment setup, and collaboration with People Operations for a smooth handoff.

  • Optimize tools and systems (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Remote, Coda), and contribute to broader talent initiatives like interviewer training, employer branding, and early-career programs.

  • Stay ahead of trends in sourcing, talent attraction, and compensation — using insights to inform hiring strategy and strengthen how we engage and retain top talent.

What you will bring

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience across a variety of roles, with the ability to switch seamlessly between volume hiring and strategic sourcing for niche searches.

  • Proven sourcing and candidate engagement skills, including market mapping, crafting outreach, and nurturing passive candidates through the funnel.

  • A structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to research new topics, adapt quickly to unfamiliar domains, and apply a methodical approach to candidate pipelines.

  • Clear and adaptive communication, with the ability to build trust and influence across teams, levels, and functions.

  • Strong organizational skills, balancing strategic priorities with tactical execution while consistently delivering high-quality work at speed.

  • Fluency with modern recruiting technologies and a genuine eagerness to adopt new tools and systems, including AI-enabled recruiting.

  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to systematize, optimize, and uplevel how we work through better processes, documentation, and hiring manager enablement.

Bonus

  • Experience in high-growth startups or building teams from the ground up in larger organizations.

  • Comfortable working in a remote setting and supporting operations across multiple locations and time zones.

  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Software and/or AI space.
