Job Overview
As a Site Operations Manager, you will lead field service and operations teams responsible for the support and success of a large fleet of Mainspring linear generators at a single customer site. Your responsibilities include managing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to maximize uptime. You will also oversee the local warehouse, inventory, and logistics. By leveraging data-driven insights and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Product teams, you will drive improvements in service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Field Service and Operations teams to optimize workflows and resource planning.
- Measure, track, and report performance metrics and KPIs.
- Manage facility operations to support field service.
- Promote a safe, efficient, and organized facility environment aligned with Lean practices.
- Oversee and maintain the readiness of warehouse, inventory, tooling, and materials to meet service and upgrade schedules.
- Oversee logistics, including receiving, shipping, kitting, and dispatching parts for field activities.
- Analyze operational data and service metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in field service support, facility operations, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and grow cross-functional teams focusing on a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, logistics, and operational workflows in technical environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize and adapt quickly.
- Experience analyzing operational data and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and application.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data management tools.
