Who Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking a high-energy and passionate Manager to join our fast-growing team. This role's core focus is to lead and grow an exceptional Business Development team. You will directly manage and coach a team of Business Development Representatives (BDR’s), who prospect both inbound and outbound opportunities across multiple markets, building the pipeline to support our growth.

In this Boston, MA-based role, you will be instrumental in leading this motivated team to achieve individual and team quotas. This role requires 3 days in the Boston office and 2 days WFH.

What Will You Do?

  • Hire, train, and lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDR’s) responsible for developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within their assigned territory.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports.
  • Own BDR performance metrics and provide regular feedback to marketing & sales leadership.
  • Support sales leadership and BDR’s in building an effective outbound process, including prospect list building, outbound campaigns, sales training, and developing a BDR career path at Lookout.
  • Regularly report on team and individual results – Lead Quantity, Quality, & Revenue.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in process, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Develop BDRs into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions.
  • Help create a fun, high-energy environment where people love coming to work.

What’s Needed?

  • 2+ years of experience in sales management or business development management.
  • A passion for training and development.
  • BA or BS Degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and outlined metrics.
  • Proficiency in leveraging prospecting tech stacks (6Sense, ZoomInfo, Salesloft).

The US salary range for this full-time position is available below. We offer base + commission + equity + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the on-target earnings (OTE) and does not include equity or benefits.
