Position Summary

As our Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team to develop systems and processes that drive our product innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our development lab, overseeing test equipment, part storage, sample preparation, and analysis equipment.
  • Set up and conduct experiments to optimize process conditions and evaluate new system designs.
  • Receive, label, and store samples securely for testing.
  • Conduct sample preparation and analysis, interpreting experimental results to support engineering efforts.
  • Maintain lab organization by properly storing and labeling tools, samples, and components.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on prototype design, installation, and related tasks.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering settings.
  • Proficiency in operating lab equipment and machinery.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach problems analytically.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Associate degree in a technical field.

Additional Qualifications Desired

  • Familiarity with vacuum equipment.
  • Experience with high-temperature furnaces and materials.
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing metallurgical samples.
  • Ability to operate various metrology equipment, such as SEM, optical microscope, XRD, Ellipsometer, and others.
