Position Summary

As our Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team to develop systems and processes that drive our product innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain our development lab, overseeing test equipment, part storage, sample preparation, and analysis equipment.
Set up and conduct experiments to optimize process conditions and evaluate new system designs.
Receive, label, and store samples securely for testing.
Conduct sample preparation and analysis, interpreting experimental results to support engineering efforts.
Maintain lab organization by properly storing and labeling tools, samples, and components.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
Collaborate with the engineering team on prototype design, installation, and related tasks.

Key Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering settings.
Proficiency in operating lab equipment and machinery.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach problems analytically.
Experience working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Associate degree in a technical field.

Additional Qualifications Desired

Familiarity with vacuum equipment.
Experience with high-temperature furnaces and materials.
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing metallurgical samples.
Ability to operate various metrology equipment, such as SEM, optical microscope, XRD, Ellipsometer, and others.
