What You'll Do:

Identify and scope product challenges that are ripe for data science and machine learning solutions - transaction understanding and categorization, merchant classification.
Work cross-functionally to collect data, develop and train machine learning models, and integrate those models into realtime and offline production systems.
Build the infrastructure that allows us to scale by optimizing data science workflows and ensuring data quality standards.

Who You Are:

5+ years of industry experience in relevant roles such as data scientist, machine learning engineer, or software engineer.
You work very well cross-functionally, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs.
Prior experience building production software systems, especially realtime machine learning systems.
Prior experience building machine learning solutions for payment and receipt processing automations

This position has a minimum base salary of $170,000 and a midpoint base salary of $185,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards.
