The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain provides vision, leadership and operational excellence to the supply chain organization including procurement, demand and capacity planning, vendor sourcing & onboarding, logistics, fleet and warehouse management, demand planning and more. You will design, build, and implement supply chain strategies which efficiently enhance operational capabilities, driving synergies across business units to surpass client expectations and maximize profitability. This position will be based in Scottsdale, AZ, and report to the President, Residential Division. We are a technology company operating around the property and construction industries, so experience in either field is a bonus!

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide strategic alignment for the key departmental resources to support the organizations strategies ensuring critical processes are in place to achieve step-change and scalable growth
  • Execute on organizational improvement efforts identifying best-in-class supply chain strategies with a focus on optimizing our operational capabilities and efficiencies
  • Drive the business relationship with BU leaders to define the long-term strategy and organization capability, cultivating synergies to improve SCM systems and processes
  • Develop, promote, and communicate key performance metrics across the organization creating a shared vision of success
  • Responsible for the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, and warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the on-time delivery of materials to the job site
  • Develop and manage capabilities for optimized logistics strategies that drive supply reliability, maximize cost efficiencies, and enable solutions for critical projects
  • Participate in demand planning and develop and lead capacity planning programs for internal workforces, vendor networks and materials to ensure the business is prepared for the new growth
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement
  • Accountable for operational and financial management of inventory and establishes controls to ensure the organization is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk
  • Works closely with peers to create meaningful Standard Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will deliver our yearly operational plan and the planned process improvement initiatives
  • Foster and lead by example of continuous improvement, organization’s policies, team member development, and passion for value added enhancements to support long-range strategic plans

You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related Business field. MBA is a plus!
  • 12+ years of supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions
  • Experience in multiple supply chain/processes, methodologies, and technologies such as ERP, JIT, S&OP, Lean, and Six Sigma
  • Strong financial acumen with consultative, analytical, problem-solving, and P&L skills
  • Must have the ability to interact, collaborate and execute at all the highest levels of the company
  • Thorough understanding of contracts with the ability to create, draft, prepare, revise, review, and negotiate complex contract terms
  • Must be enthusiastic about developing the plan, but also have the ability and passion to drive projects to successful completion
  • Proven experience spearheading both the planning and implementation of multiple projects, with the proper level of organization and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Long range planning skills to ensure capability and capacity to meet business strategy
  • Ability and evidence of showing composure, a positive attitude and strong judgement, even in adverse situations in a team environment
  • Thorough understanding of safety and quality policies and procedures
