Role Overview:
The Technical Operations Manager serves as a key member of the Operations team, responsible for configuring, administering, and optimizing Lead Bank’s nCino platform while driving cross-departmental special projects and advanced reporting initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical systems expertise, project management capability, and analytical insight to ensure operational excellence across core systems, core surrounds and data delivery.
A major focus of this role will include leading core operations initiatives, specifically related to the configuration and ownership of loan products within Lead Bank’s new Finxact core. The Technical Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful setup, testing, and long-term performance of these products to support scalable, compliant, and efficient lending operations.

In the role you will:

  • nCino Administration
  • Serve as the primary administrator and owner of nCino, responsible for configuration, customization, and maintenance of the platform.
  • Build and optimize workflows, automation, and page layouts to support business processes across lending and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable system configurations.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and data integrity to ensure consistent, compliant system use.
  • Coordinate testing, release management, and ongoing platform enhancements in partnership with Technology and Compliance teams.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, change management logs, and best practices.
  • Data & Reporting
  • Create, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports in nCino, Snowflake, and other reporting systems as applicable for executive oversight, performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.
  • Identify and close data gaps to ensure accuracy and completeness of operational information.
  • Complete ad hoc and recurring data requests across Payments, Compliance, FinCrimes, Product, and Executive teams in a secure, timely manner.
  • Develop and manage reporting frameworks to support fintech client reporting obligations and internal audit readiness.
  • Special Projects & Core Operations
  • Lead and execute core operations projects focused on the configuration, testing, and ongoing ownership of loan products within the Finxact core.
  • Drive high-impact special projects tied to operational transformation, including new product rollouts, technology partner integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with internal leaders and third-party vendors to evaluate, select, and implement new systems or process improvements.
  • Provide ongoing product and application support for projects previously implemented.
  • Represent Operations in cross-functional initiatives, ensuring scalability, compliance, and operational alignment.
  • Technology Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to support integrations between nCino, Finxact, and other internal systems.
  • Translate operational and regulatory requirements into technical design specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management or operational systems experience; nCino administrative experience required.
  • Proven ability to configure, maintain, and enhance Salesforce/nCino environments.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, loan operations, and core operations.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining loan products within a core banking system.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of initiative, curiosity, and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced reporting and data analytics experience with SQL and Snowflake.
  • Proficiency with Metabase, QuickSight, or equivalent reporting tools.
