About the Integration Team:
The Kognitos Integration Team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the natural language integration capabilities of our platform. The team ensures that users can effortlessly access and utilize the diverse functionalities offered by third-party services through English language commands on our platform.
Position Overview:
As a Mid-Level Software Engineer on the Integration Team, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our integration solutions. Your work will directly impact the user experience by providing seamless connectivity and interaction with various external services. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a dynamic team to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Integrations: Design, create, and implement backend natural language-based integrations between Kognitos and third-party services like Salesforce, Hubspot, Oracle Fusion, Google, etc.
Collaborate: Work closely with other team members, including backend engineers, solution engineers, sales development representatives, and product managers, to develop integration solutions.
Optimize Performance: Ensure the scalability and stability of the integrations, identifying and resolving any performance issues.
Maintain and Improve: Continuously enhance existing integrations and adhere to coding best practices and standards.
Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests for integration functionalities.
Support: Provide technical support and guidance within the team and to stakeholders, troubleshooting integration-related issues.
Contribute: Participate in team meetings, contribute to documentation, and assist in project planning related to integrations.
Qualifications:
Education: B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering, with a focus on integration projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Python programming language and REST API design and development.
Other Skills: Experience with modern software development practices and methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Collaborative Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
Fluent in English.
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.
Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks is an advantage.
