About Kiddom

Kiddom is transforming K–12 education by bringing high-quality curriculum, instructional tools, and student analytics together in one coherent system. We are building Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT), a new category that gives educators the infrastructure to plan, teach, assess, and respond to student needs. With Kiddom, educators spend less time managing administrative burden and more time delivering meaningful student instruction. Kiddom helps schools and districts deliver more equitable, effective, and adaptive learning experiences.

Role Overview

The Print Operations Manager will serve as Kiddom's primary operational owner for all print production activity, overseeing the end-to-end production lifecycle from file submission through vendor proofing, PO issuance, and delivery tracking. This role is accountable for managing Kiddom's network of print suppliers, manipulative suppliers, and trade book suppliers, keeping thousands of ISBNs and product SKUs on schedule during the BTS production season. One direct report (Kit/Trade Operations Analyst) will support this role.

What you'll be doing...

  • Own the end-to-end print production workflow, from print-ready file handoff through vendor submission, proofing, PO issuance, and on-time delivery.

  • Manage day-to-day operational relationships across Kiddom's print suppliers, manipulative suppliers, and trade book suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for production status, escalations, and issue resolution.

  • Oversee all manipulative and kit supplier operations, including component sourcing, assembly coordination, packaging specifications, and delivery timelines.

  • Manage trade book supplier relationships, including ordering, inventory alignment, and fulfillment coordination for trade titles across curriculum programs.

  • Oversee file submission and proofing processes, ensuring accuracy of interiors and covers across all curriculum programs and ISBNs.

  • Maintain and update production schedules across all active ISBNs and SKUs, tracking readiness, supplier status, and delivery timelines for each title or product.

  • Coordinate with the Print Production team on cover and interior file readiness, flagging blockers and managing handoff quality.

  • Partner with Finance and the VP of Supply Chain on PO issuance, invoice review, and supplier pricing alignment.

  • Lead regular supplier status calls, surfacing issues, tracking open actions, and escalating risks to delivery timelines.

  • Build and maintain reporting on production status, open POs, proofing stages, and supplier delivery performance.

  • Manage the Kit/Trade Operations Analyst who supports data entry, file tracking, and sample PO execution.

  • Support BTS season planning by coordinating production launch sequencing, prioritization, and risk mitigation across all supplier types and curricula.

What we're looking for...

  • 5+ years of experience in print production operations, manufacturing coordination, or supply chain with a physical product focus.

  • Experience managing print suppliers alongside manipulative or consumer goods suppliers, with accountability for timelines and quality outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of offset and digital printing processes, including file specifications, proofing, and vendor quality standards.

  • Familiarity with manipulative or kit production, including component sourcing, assembly, and packaging coordination.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills; able to track and prioritize across a large volume of concurrent titles and SKUs.

  • Proficiency with production tracking tools, spreadsheets, and ERP or order management platforms.

  • Clear and direct communicator, comfortable navigating supplier escalations and cross-functional coordination.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Print Production, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus:

  • Experience in K-12 educational publishing or curriculum production.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Airtable, or similar operations tools.
