The Program Manager, Adoptions & RFPs, coordinates the operational execution of Kiddom’s state and district adoption strategy. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving large-scale curriculum adoptions and RFP responses across multiple states and districts, ensuring Kiddom is prepared, aligned, and competitive at every stage of the process.
This role sits at the intersection of content, product, sales, and customer success, turning adoption requirements and timelines into clear plans, tracking readiness across teams, and ensuring nothing critical is missed The Program Manager acts as the single source of truth for adoption and RFP execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Adoption & RFP Program Ownership: Own end-to-end program management for state adoptions, district adoptions, and formal RFPs, from early signal through submission and post-submission follow-up.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Curriculum, Product, Content Ops, Sales, and Customer Success to drive adoption readiness.
- Process & Execution Management: Define and continuously improve standardized processes for adoption tracking, RFP responses, and submission workflows.
- Readiness, Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify gaps or risks related to standards alignment, content coverage, platform capabilities, translations, pricing, or implementation requirements.
- Communication: Serve as the internal point of contact for adoption and RFP status.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in complex, cross-functional environments, PMP certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing complex timelines across multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many parallel workstreams and long-range timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting plans as requirements evolve.
- Strong team player, with ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting
- Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
Bonus:
- Experience in K–12 education, instructional materials, edtech, or public-sector procurement.
- Familiarity with state curriculum adoption processes and state purchasing structures.
- Experience building scalable operational systems (templates, trackers, dashboards).
- Familiarity with standards alignment, instructional content workflows, or assessment programs.
Salary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
