Kiddom is looking for a Sales Development Representative to support the outreach efforts of the sales team. This role is responsible for setting meetings with decision makers and scheduling product demonstrations. This role will be a mix of Inbound Lead Qualification and Outbound Prospecting. For now, you will cover the whole country, making phone calls and sending emails each day to key decision makers at school districts. You will need to be creative in their prospecting efforts and directly support the efforts of our Senior Account Executives. Sales Development Representatives are the fuel and lifeblood of our sales efforts. You must be very well organized, aggressive (at times) in your efforts, and always using technology tools & data to ensure you meet and exceed your goals. You will build relationships with gatekeepers & decision makers, and develop an understanding of the schools’ and districts’ needs and how Kiddom’s product can fulfill them.

About the role...

  • Achieve the goals assigned to your role, specifically: 1) qualify inbound leads 2) prospect qualified leads and 3) schedule meetings with key decision makers on behalf of your Account Executives
  • Understand your customer’s needs in order to communicate clearly the product as a solution.
  • Build relationships with gatekeepers and key decision makers to pique their interest in learning more about Kiddom.
  • Be detail-oriented, organized, and persistent in sales and service follow ups.
  • Diligent in tracking prospects and leads through your inbound and outbound activities. Use data in all your efforts to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Demonstrate a sense of ownership and pride in both personal and company performance.

About you...

  • Clear understanding of educators’ challenges; experience communicating and empathizing with teachers and administrators in K-12.
  • Very technologically savvy, used to using a variety of softwares and data to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • High achiever in some aspect of their personal or professional lives.
  • Track record of identifying people’s needs and successfully implementing solutions.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to your work, improving processes and outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship skills.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and fast paced changes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot & sales or sales support experience is a major plus.
Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
