Role: Assistant Manager – Sales

As an Assistant Manager – Sales, you will be at the forefront of Ivy Homes' customer efforts, representing the company directly to prospective homebuyers. You will engage with customers throughout their purchase journey—from the first site visit to final booking—helping them evaluate properties, address concerns, and make informed buying decisions.

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of customer needs, the ability to build trust quickly, and the persistence to convert opportunities into successful transactions. This is a field-intensive role that demands high levels of ownership, customer engagement, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers and understand their home-buying requirements, preferences, and budget.
  • Conduct property visits and deliver a compelling walkthrough experience that highlights the value and suitability of each home.
  • Recommend the most relevant inventory based on customer needs and present alternative options where required.
  • Build trust-based relationships with customers and act as a reliable advisor throughout the decision-making process.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to booking closure.
  • Maintain timely and consistent follow-ups to drive customer engagement and conversions.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Channel Partners to generate and expand business opportunities.
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing movements, inventory availability, and competitor offerings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets.

Requirements

  • 1–7 years of experience in Real Estate, Hospitality, Automobile, Insurance, Banking, Retail, or other customer-facing sales environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and drive sales outcomes.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Bangalore for customer meetings and property visits.
  • Must own a two-wheeler or car.
