Ivy Homes is exploring a first-of-its-kind solution to secondary sales in real estate in India. You’ll therefore be at the forefront, designing the disruption in real estate using AI, ML, software and innovation.
Building using AI & ML, Ivy Homes leverages data from various channels across industry verticals, and couples this with on-ground intelligence to predict the prices in an apartment.
As a nextgen entity, Ivy Homes is building systems for handling millions of GBs of data which has to be safely stored over the years to uncover and predict trends in the Indian housing market.
Our core team comprises IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur alumni with excellent business and technology acumen. We are backed by marquee Venture Capitalists in the startup ecosystem, including Y-Combinator, Khosla Ventures, Global Founders Capital and Venture Highway. Channel Sales Associate - ROLE SUMMARY
The Channel Sales team is responsible for working with Channel Partners/Brokers to source and close leads for both Property Acquisition and Sales. It's one of the most crucial verticals in defining the company’s growth.
As a Channel Sales Associate, you will be responsible for building the channel partner (CP) vertical for Ivy homes. You will be primarily involved in signing up new CP accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners. You’ll work closely with the Sales and the Business Development team to give on-ground insights and help the sourcing scale. You’ll be directly responsible for Sourcing & Closing for one or more micro-markets in the city of Bangalore and crucial to the expansion of the company to new markets.
You will routinely deal with complexity. You’ll build mastery over our business model and processes, and be responsible for hand-holding sellers & Partners through details of what they should expect in the sale of the home. You’ll live and communicate our principles of trust, transparency and customer empathy.
And will be responsible for working with the team to drive higher home purchases month on month.
In your heart, you are a true salesperson. Navigating purchase pipelines, perfection in planning and forecasting, and additionally motivating sellers to align with closure timelines must come naturally to you. You’re a born communicator, and you will manage stakeholders across the spectrum beautifully. You’ll be comfortable with targets, and hungry for business.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- You will build rapport generate qualified leads from the channel partners, where primary offers to sellers are to be made
- You’ll assume the front-ending responsibility, effectively communicating the offer and assessing the status of the lead
- You’ll visit individual homes, assessing them from a business perspective, and honestly capturing relevant feedback from a qualitative buyer perspective
- You’ll coordinate internally with the Pricing team to derive final price offers for the homes
- You’ll close, and subsequently handhold through to the final sign-off on the numbers with the seller, and close things out by signing a Booking Form documenting all agreed terms and conditions
- You’re responsible for a smooth handover to our Customer Experience (CX) team to drive things from there on
- Project Management, Mathematical Ability, Business Acumen, Negotiation Ability, and Conversation Skills are the key pillars of the Business Development Associate role
- You are the face and voice of the brand, and you must live our values (Get Stuff Done; Be a Good Person!) in everything you say and do
- You’ve got to be comfortable working with targets and consistently hitting or delivering beyond that - things will grow at a breakneck pace because we’re a very young startup!
- You’re good at communicating clearly, and setting expectations with stakeholders and working with multiple teams
- Framing Channel Partner vertical policies and expansion strategy. Regular Channel Partner events & engagements activities will be under your purview.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2-6 Years of experience managing Real Estate Channel Partners
- Enthusiasm to work with CRM systems and drive value through them
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, formal and informal (English)
- An understanding of timelines and project management
- Comfort with targets & execution planning!
- Willing to travel within Bangalore regularly (you should love being in the field!)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
- Good presentation skills and exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal (English, Hindi and Kannada). Any other language is an added advantage
- Ability to create business plans and work with internal teams to ensure perfect execution
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
