House Rx is on a mission to make specialty medications more affordable and accessible for patients suffering from chronic illnesses like cancer and autoimmune disorders. We provide clinics with specialized technology and support from pharmacists and care coordinators to dispense medication directly to their patients, known as medically integrated dispensing (MID). We are expanding our product team to help fuel our next phase of growth — keep reading to learn more about the role, our team, and why House Rx is the right next step in your career!

About the role

Built from the ground up by specialty pharmacists, physicians, and technologists, the House Rx platform enables all aspects of medically integrated dispensing — from prior authorization and financial counseling to fulfillment tools, scalable patient outreach, and real-time analytics. Integration with multiple EHR systems allows collaboration between physicians, pharmacists, and on the ground care teams to provide better, more efficient patient care.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to contribute to the ongoing development, optimization and growth of our customer facing data products, our data integrations, and our data warehouse. We enable the care of thousands of patients daily, and our customer base is growing exponentially across all segments - and with that growth we are looking for an individual who is excited to support the expanding volume & use cases of data across our platform.

A PM in this role will collaborate most closely with our data engineering, clinical operations, finance & internal analytics teams, while also working directly with our customers & users. They will be responsible for identifying key gaps within the data platform that deserve our attention and investment, defining product solutions for these problems across our platform data offerings.

We believe that our product managers are bastions of culture, engaging with empathy across the entire organization, with a focus on creative problem solving, not being bound by old playbooks, and a relentless focus on constantly iterating and improving themselves, their products, their teams, and the company as a whole. If this sounds like you, read on.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for House Rx’s customer analytics, reporting, and data integrations - unlocking actionable insights for internal teams and external customers, and identifying gaps in data needed to drive better decisions and growth.
  • Identify where data can unlock value for our customers and users, ensuring that the right insights are exposed to the right users in the right way - whether that is an embedded UI or reports dropped directly on their servers.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, from our internal analytics team, our customer success team, the leadership team & directly with customers. Build solutions that enable meeting the needs of these multiple stakeholders as needed.
  • Proactively surface gaps in our data integration landscape as well as our platform instrumentation which may limit insights, scalability, or customer adoption.
  • Map available data to high-value reporting use cases (financial performance, dispensing efficiency, access-to-therapy metrics, etc.), and prioritize new data assets where gaps exist.
  • Align, define and own our data dictionary: metric definitions, business logic, and consistency across dashboards, exports, and downstream consumers.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers on data pipelines, analytical stores, and BI tooling - being a strong thought partner in helping inform technical decisions that will align with company needs.
  • Empower your team to move fast and iterate quickly. Ensure that the engineering & design teams you work with have the context they need to make quick decisions about the project as they go. Empower the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and healthy debate and discussion.
  • Be willing to go above and beyond. Our team is at the nexus of bringing together ideas and making them a reality, and that involves a relentless focus on quality and a personality that thrives on creating community, delivering value, and improving oneself.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for ongoing innovation & improvement. Our favorite podcasts are: Out of Pocket, Relentless Health Value and Acquired. We would love to hear yours!

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, working closely with data teams and managing cross functional stakeholders
  • Extremely technical, willing to get into the weeds of our data to make sure that we are not missing anything in the insights that we deliver to our stakeholders. A previous background in data science or data engineering is a huge plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • An interest and willingness to bring together opposing viewpoints to facilitate healthy discussion and disagreements and work towards the most effective outcome
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working on pharmacy management systems, electronic health records (EHRs), or related healthcare software strongly preferred but not required.
