Senior Full Stack Engineer
House Rx
House Rx is on a mission to make specialty medications more affordable and accessible for patients suffering from chronic illnesses like cancer and autoimmune disorders. We provide clinics with specialized technology and support from pharmacists and care coordinators to dispense medication directly to their patients, known as medically integrated dispensing (MID). We are expanding our product team to help fuel our next phase of growth — keep reading to learn more about the role, our team, and why House Rx is the right next step in your career!
About The Role
Our engineering team is scaling quickly and we’re looking to add a Senior Full Stack Engineer to our team who will take ownership of our Shared Services platform, which will cover the core components that power the entire platform. Your decisions and code will directly shape the platform, and every improvement you make touches the entire product and the people using it. We give you space to lead and run with projects and the opportunity to help set engineering standards for a growing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver: Take ownership of full stack projects from design through deployment, with timelines of 4–6 weeks. You’ll be responsible for leading delivery of significant projects that are reliable, maintainable with high quality and adherence.
- Own Shared Services: Drive the architecture, standards, and reliability of core components – authentication, user management, workflow orchestration, patient profiles, and more.
- Set the bar: Champion automated testing, code quality, and best practices across your pod and the broader engineering org.
- Collaborate & mentor: Work closely with teammates to elevate technical standards and share knowledge.
- Drive impact: Within 30 days, you’ll understand the systems you own and deploy meaningful code into production. Within 60 days, you’ll take ownership of some of the projects within the pod and lead them to completion. Within 90 days, you’ll be shaping a roadmap to improve quality and processes.
