About Honey Homes
Honey Homes eliminates the hassle of home upkeep, replacing it with comfort and joy. Our 3,500+ members are each paired with a dedicated, fully-employed handyman who manages repairs, maintenance, and lightweight upgrades throughout the year.

All of our handymen are W-2 employees hired for their technical expertise, service mindset, and integrity. Because the same professional cares for your home consistently, members experience something rare in home services: reliability, trust, and consistently high-quality care.

Behind the scenes, our AI-powered systems help us operate thoughtfully and efficiently at scale. We’re redefining modern homeownership, and we’re just getting started.

The Opportunity

As our Local Growth Lead, you will build and scale Honey Homes’ hyperlocal growth engine across every market we serve.

This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, field marketing and local brand building. Your job is to develop a scalable local acquisition engine that drives neighborhood density, builds trust within communities, and turns local awareness into measurable member growth.

You’ll own Honey Homes' local presence across our markets. This includes partnerships, member-ambassadors, local influencers, community activations, and referral ecosystems. You’ll think deeply about which relationships, events, and neighborhood strategies actually compound over time, and then operationalize those learnings into playbooks.

This is a cross-functional role. You’ll work closely with Growth, Ops and Sales to ensure local growth becomes an even more meaningful and measurable acquisition channel. We’re looking for someone who can create structure from tests, roll up their sleeves operationally to learn what works, and iterate on strategy in real-time.

The right person for this role is highly resourceful, deeply organized, strong with people, and energized by the challenge of building something from first principles.

What Might Make This Role Challenging

This is not a role with a fully built playbook, large support team, or mature operating systems already in place.

You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritizing quickly, and building systems while simultaneously operating inside them. Some local initiatives will perform exceptionally well; others won’t. Success in this role requires strong judgment, high ownership, operational rigor, and the ability to learn quickly through experimentation.

This role also requires balancing relationship-building with measurable business outcomes. You’ll be expected to build authentic local partnerships and community trust while maintaining a sharp eye toward conversion, scalability, and ROI.

If you’re looking for a highly structured field marketing role with predefined campaigns and clear lanes, this likely won’t be the right fit. If you’re excited by the idea of building a new growth function from the ground up, it probably will be.

Outcomes

Build Honey Homes' local acquisition engine

You’ll develop and execute the strategy for how Honey Homes grows through local trust networks, partnerships, referrals, and community presence. Over time, your work should create a repeatable and increasingly scalable hyperlocal growth engine that can be deployed market-by-market.

You will identify which local efforts actually drive walk-thrus and memberships, while increasing neighborhood density within key communities. You’ll also help establish the systems and reporting needed to measure performance across local growth initiatives and improve them over time.

Own and scale the event and community activation program

You’ll create Honey Homes’ annual local events and field marketing strategy across all markets. This includes identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, developing repeatable playbooks, improving lead capture and follow-up systems, and ensuring events contribute meaningfully to downstream conversion.

You’ll think carefully about how Honey Homes should show up within neighborhoods and communities in a way that feels thoughtful, premium, and relationship-driven — not transactional.

Build scalable partnership and referral channels

You’ll create systems that turn local relationships into meaningful member growth. This includes building partnership pipelines across realtors, designers, trades professionals, schools, HOAs, local businesses, and parent communities, while also helping scale Honey Homes’ ambassador and referral ecosystem.

You should naturally think about how referral loops and neighborhood trust compound over time, and how to operationalize those dynamics into scalable acquisition channels for the business.

Create the operating system behind local growth

Your work should make local growth increasingly measurable, operationalized, and scalable. You’ll partner closely with Ops and Growth to improve tooling, attribution, workflows, reporting, and launch playbooks that support both existing and future markets.

Over time, this role should help Honey Homes build a durable competitive advantage through deep local presence, neighborhood density, and community trust.

Community-Led Growth Thinking: You understand how trust, relationships, referrals, and local presence compound over time. You naturally think beyond one-off campaigns and focus on building durable growth systems.

Relationship Building: You build trust quickly and communicate with warmth, professionalism, and credibility across many different audiences and communities.

Qualifications

We’re seeking an experienced operator with 3-5 years of experience across growth, partnerships, field marketing, community, business development, brand activations, or local market expansion.

Ideal candidates may come from consumer startups, marketplaces, hospitality, membership businesses, or other relationship-driven brands where trust and community matter deeply. Experience building scalable local acquisition systems, partnership programs, referral engines, or field marketing initiatives is highly valuable.

You should thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy ambiguity, and be excited by the challenge of building a new growth function from the ground up.

Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 / year, plus equity, and full health benefits.
