We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead and uplevel one of our Account Executive teams in Houston, helping drive immediate revenue results while transforming how we coach, operate, and win at scale.
This is a highly visible role for a coaching-first, data-driven leader who thrives in high-velocity environments and brings both rigor and energy to the floor. You’ll lead a team of 6–10 Account Executives, own the number, and partner closely with Sales Leadership to strengthen the systems, metrics, and coaching motions that define a high-performing sales org.
As a leader at an AI-first company, you’ll also help your team retool how they work—using AI, data, and experimentation to increase throughput, improve deal quality, and accelerate learning across the team.
You’ll be a core leader in the Houston hub, shaping how sales operates day to day and influencing how we scale the org over the next phase of growth.
This role has real latitude: you’ll help define standards, coaching rhythms, and operating expectations — not just execute someone else’s playbook.
Data-Driven Coaching & Development
Use coaching as a growth lever, not a check-the-box activity—connecting inputs to outputs and holding a high bar for execution.
Identify performance patterns across reps and cohorts, then codify what works into repeatable playbooks the team actually uses.
Stay close to the work by coaching live: listening to calls, breaking down deals, and intervening in real time when it matters.
Revenue & Execution
You are accountable for your team’s number—pipeline health, conversion, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment.
Own team performance against quota, consistently driving strong pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue outcomes.
Instill accountability and operating rigor while maintaining speed, focus, and urgency in a high-throughput environment.
Building & Transforming the Sales System
Partner with Sales Leadership as a thought partner in how we uplevel the team—testing new coaching approaches, refining KPIs, and launching initiatives that improve performance over time.
Think in systems: connect people, process, metrics, and tools to create durable performance gains.
Design and evolve how sales runs in Houston—from KPIs and rituals to coaching cadences and performance standards.
AI-Enabled Sales Leadership
Leverage AI as a force multiplier for the team — improving rep productivity, deal quality, and decision-making rather than adding noise or complexity.
Experiment with AI-driven workflows to reduce low-value manual work (note-taking, follow-ups, data hygiene) and redirect time toward selling and coaching.

Own the build-out of your team: hire exceptional talent, develop future leaders, and help define the long-term direction of how sales operates at Homebase.
🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
5+ years managing high-volume inside sales teams, ideally in SaaS.
Proven ability to coach through data—using metrics and KPIs to diagnose performance issues and drive improvement.
Experience operating in high-velocity environments where speed, focus, and prioritization matter.
Strong systems and analytical thinker: uses KPIs and performance data to diagnose gaps, design targeted initiatives, and continuously improve how the team operates and wins.
High EQ, strong presence, and an energetic, people-first leadership style.
Demonstrated ability to retool workflows with AI and enable adoption across a team.
Experience selling to SMBs; affinity for local businesses is a huge plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire trust across teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
