We're looking for a Senior Organic Growth Manager to own Homebase's organic growth strategy across site performance, on-page SEO, Reddit community building, offsite links, citations and sentiment, partner co-marketing, and organic mobile.

This isn’t a traditional SEO role. It’s built for a strategic marketer who specializes in organic growth. You think about customer problems, product positioning, and revenue impact alongside traditional SEO and emerging GEO strategies—and you're excited (not scared) about the future of search and AI's role in it.

To strategize, build, and track success, you'll report to the Manager, Organic Growth, and partner closely with our Technical SEO Consultant, web team, content team, product marketing team, and agency partners to ship projects fast and drive real impact.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

Site Performance & SEO/GEO Strategy (40%)

  • Drive industry-leading site performance, working collaboratively with our web team and technical SEO consultant to monitor, ideate, and install fixes and upgrades to our website’s technical and structural health. You don’t need to be a technical SEO, but you need to be able to partner with one on making smart, strategic decisions.

  • Own strategy and execution of key on-page SEO projects like programmatic SEO hubs, SEO product & features pages, and SEO tools to drive impact across our funnel. You’ll be acting as strategist, project manager, and editor on these projects–not just looking up keywords.

  • Run consistent SEO tests across our site, including H2 tweaks, structural changes, schema improvements, FAQ strategy, and title tweaks, knowing small improvements can make a big improvement over time.

Reddit & Offsite SEO/GEO Strategy (30%)

  • Build our Reddit community strategy from the ground up, working with industry-leading resources to engage small business owners with white hat tactics that take advantage of Google’s algorithm bias while future-proofing us for an era when that bias goes away.

  • Oversee our white hat backlinking program, citation development program, and LLM sentiment management program, working with our backlinking partner to get valuable mentions from legitimate sites–and monitoring what those sites are saying about us.

  • Create valuable relationships with partners (Clover, Shopify, Square, etc.) to acquire backlinks and co-marketing opportunities, and then work to get projects live ASAP.

Organic Mobile Strategy (10%)

  • Own our mobile sign-up performance, working with our organic mobile agency to test improvements across iOS and Android stores to rank on search and convert new downloads.

Go Faster with AI Tools (10%)

  • Hit the Homebase purple standard (go fast, make it good) by strategically building and implementing AI flows using tools like Claude, AirOps, and Agent Builder–you’ll get training and support to make this happen.

Analyze, Analyze, Analyze (10%)

  • Monitor key reports in Google Search Console, Amplitude, Looker, and Profound, ensuring SEO and GEO performance is up and to the right–and coming up with solutions if it ever isn’t.

  • Own monthly reporting for SEO & GEO channels, building summary reports and contributing to our monthly performance call with the executive team.

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

  • Strategic SEO Leadership: 7-9+ years of hands-on experience in organic growth, generalist marketing, inbound marketing, SEO content, SEO, or growth marketing roles in B2B SaaS—with a proven track record of driving measurable impact at every stage of the organic funnel.

  • Full Funnel Marketing Mindset: You think about organic growth like a marketer first, and a traditional SEO second. You understand customer jobs-to-be-done, product positioning, and business objectives—and you can use a variety of organic channels as strategic levers to drive growth. You think the future of search is a balance between volume and quality, and are equally ready to geek out over sitemaps, whip-smart SEO-optimized LP copy, and building Reddit karma points for an exec’s branded Reddit account.

  • Technical Partnership & On-Page Expertise: You've partnered with technical SEO consultants and web teams to drive site performance improvements, and have owned end-to-end on-page SEO projects like programmatic hubs, tools, and/or product pages from strategy through execution. You can review a Core Web Vitals report and build a product page copywriting brief with equal confidence.

  • Community & Offsite SEO/GEO Mastery: Experience building community-based marketing strategies (Reddit, forums, email nurture, social media), managing white hat backlinking programs, and developing partner relationships that turn into co-marketing wins. You understand how to engage communities authentically while driving SEO /GEO impact. You think about these programs like a brand SEO marketer, not an SEO from 2015.

  • Agency & Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong track record of managing external partners and driving projects forward while partnering with internal teams. You're the connector and project manager who gets things unstuck and shipped—setting clear expectations, providing actionable feedback, and holding everyone (including yourself) accountable to outcomes.

  • AI-Powered Workflows: You have experience building AI workflows, or you’re hungry for it. This could be across research, everyday tasks, content production, SEO optimization, or marketing automation (AirOps, Claude API, Agent Builder, or similar tools). You’re thinking about how to use AI as a force multiplier–without giving up your agency to the LLM Gods or producing AI slop.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Looker, Amplitude) and experience translating complex data into clear insights for executive stakeholders.
