We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market efforts for Hiring Assistant, one of Homebase’s most ambitious product lines. This AI-powered product is not only a new front door for net-new customer acquisition, but a key driver of higher customer lifetime value (LTV) and cross-product adoption.
As our Hiring Assistant PMM, you’ll help define our ideal customer segments, develop sharp positioning and messaging, and execute campaigns that drive usage and conversion. You’ll collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to scale this business line—and play a critical role in helping small businesses hire faster, better, and smarter.
🧠 These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:
GTM Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Hiring Assistant—from positioning and messaging to launch execution and campaign optimization.
Customer Segmentation & Insights: Lead research to identify high-potential SMB customer segments and hiring use cases. Translate insights into actionable targeting strategies.
Growth Campaigns: Partner with Lifecycle, Growth, and Sales to craft integrated campaigns that drive product activation, retention, and expansion.
Cross-Product Attach: Work closely with Revenue and Product teams to align Hiring Assistant with broader monetization and attach strategies across Scheduling, Payroll, and HR.
Data-Driven Optimization: Define success metrics, build dashboards with Analytics, and apply A/B testing and cohort analysis to continuously improve impact.
Sales Enablement & Content: Develop compelling collateral, pitch decks, objection handling, and training to support frontline teams.
🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
7+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or strategy roles—preferably in SaaS, marketplaces, or AI-powered tools.
Ideal fit for candidates with experience in management consulting, strategy, or analytics, and those who hold MBAs from leading programs, bringing a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to go-to-market execution.
Strong analytical chops—you love digging into customer data, segment behavior, and funnel performance to guide strategy and improve results.
Proven ability to own GTM launches, lead cross-functional initiatives, and optimize campaigns for long-term value.
Experience in identifying and scaling ideal customer profiles, with a strong understanding of small business needs and behavior.
Comfort navigating AI tools and emerging tech, with a pragmatic approach to integrating them into workflows and value props.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and executive stakeholders.

(Bonus Points) Exposure to freemium → paid product models or cross-sell strategy.
