We’re looking for a Senior UX Engineer to help us scale design systems, prototype faster, and deliver pixel-perfect UI with performance and accessibility in mind. You’ll be a technical craftsperson who thrives in the messy middle between design and engineering. This role is an exciting opportunity to own our code-based design system, drive component quality, and shape how designers and engineers build together.

You’ll partner across Design, Product, and Engineering to make sure what we imagine is what we ship—at speed, and at scale.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

  • Own and evolve our internal design system: build, maintain, and document reusable components in React and React Native

  • Create high-fidelity prototypes using AI and code-based tooling for rapid concept testing

  • Collaborate with Designers to translate intent into consistent, responsive, and accessible UI

  • Coach product engineers on system adoption and best practices

  • Address UI bugs and quality issues in live product experiences

  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to shape front-end standards and workflows

  • Advocate for accessibility and performance across the stack

  • Share knowledge through documentation, tooling, and internal workshops

🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

  • 3–5+ years in front-end or UX engineering

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React

  • Proficiency with design systems, tokens, and documentation tools (e.g., Storybook)

  • Strong collaboration skills: you’ve worked closely with Product, Design, and Engineering

  • Experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and accessibility implementation (WCAG, ARIA)

  • Ability to balance craft excellence with delivery speed

  • Ability to collaborate in-office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience implementing and scaling design systems from scratch

  • Understanding of animation and motion design

  • Working knowledge of design tokens and front-end theming

  • Comfort working with AI-assisted dev or prototyping tools
