You are a bar raiser, which means you come with

  • 2-3+ years of experience in website operations, web project management, or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Webflow or similar CMS platforms.

  • Experience managing website update workflows and collaborating with developers and content teams.

  • Understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and analytics tools.

  • Excellent project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and web analytics (Google Analytics, GTM, etc.), and a curiosity to learn more

  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced SaaS or startup environment.

As a Website Operations Specialist, you’ll oversee the execution, optimization, and technical enablement of Homebase’s website. This role supports cross-functional teams in executing page builds, website updates, and campaign launches efficiently. This role will manage web development workflows, and ensure our website is performing optimally. The ideal candidate has a blend of project management expertise, technical proficiency in Webflow, and an understanding of website performance, SEO, and content strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Website Operations & Execution

  • Manage website updates, ensuring timely execution of content changes, redirects, and technical enhancements using Webflow.

  • Intake and prioritize website-related requests from various stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Content, and Brand Design teams).

  • Plan and manage website sprints, brief developers, track progress and ensure timely delivery of updates.

  • Ensure the website maintains high performance, uptime, and security.

Process Strategy & Optimization

  • Define and refine the web operations process from request intake to implementation.

  • Identify inefficiencies in the hand-offs between PMM, Content, Brand Design, and Development teams and propose solutions for improved collaboration.

  • Develop best practices for web updates and ensure alignment with broader marketing and brand strategies.

Technical Support & Enablement

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Webflow, providing guidance and troubleshooting for internal teams.

  • Support SEO initiatives, content updates, and accessibility improvements.

  • Create training materials and documentation to enable non-technical team members to execute basic website updates.
