About the Role:

As Hello Heart's Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will help tackle some of our upcoming challenges, such as:

  • Manage our Kubernetes clusters, and optimize our services for performance.
  • Integrate tools for observability, monitoring, security and scale
  • Secure and scale Kafka clusters on top of Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to improve our system infrastructure and compliance
  • Optimize and reduce cloud resources costs
  • Develop dashboards, alerts, internal tools and response processes to identify and address security and reliability risks

Our tech-stack: Scala, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Jenkins and more!

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer
  • Production experience with Kubernetes and AWS (or similar major cloud provider) - a must
  • Production experience with building and running Docker containers - a must
  • Experience deploying and managing Kafka clusters and Kafka streams - a strong advantage
  • Experience with logging and monitoring stacks - ELK, Prometheus or similar
    Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Deep understanding of production systems and scalable architecture
  • Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies
