About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Director to lead the delivery of new clinical service capabilities that extend and enhance our digital heart health companion. This person will serve as a critical bridge between our product, clinical, technical, and go-to-market teams, shaping the future of how Hello Heart supports members with deeply personalized, integrated, and evidence-based services.
As a leader in our product team, you will define the playbook for how we build, test, and scale clinical service capabilities at Hello Heart. You will also lead key data integration efforts across the healthcare ecosystem, supporting scalable and compliant pathways for EMR connectivity, information exchange, and care coordination. We’re looking for someone who brings hands-on experience building digital clinical services, a strong grasp of the U.S. healthcare system, and a passion for moving fast in startup environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition, delivery, and scaling of new clinical services that complement our digital heart health offering.
- Design and test service prototypes in collaboration with clinical, product, and GTM teams, with a focus on speed-to-learning.
- Serve as the product lead for partnerships with internal clinical teams, guiding technology and workflow enablement.
- Evaluate and implement tools that support clinical workflows, documentation, QA, and clinician productivity.
- Oversee the selection and onboarding of vendors required to support care delivery, from telehealth tools to data exchange partners.
- Support expansion of our data integration capabilities with EMRs, HIEs, and other healthcare ecosystem endpoints via standards like FHIR, HL7, Direct Messaging, and APIs.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering and data teams to ensure scalable, compliant infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with go-to-market and strategy teams to align clinical service offerings to client needs, incentives, and reimbursement models (e.g. MA performance guarantees, RPM billing).
- Bring a clear perspective on how our offerings deliver differentiated value to employers, payers, and public sector buyers—and help us tell that story better.
- Stay current on relevant trends in virtual care, digital health regulation, and value-based care that influence product decisions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience in digital health or care delivery innovation.
- Direct experience designing and implementing clinical workflows and service delivery models, especially in virtual care settings.
- Deep familiarity with healthcare ecosystem incentives—especially how health plans and employers evaluate value around heart health outcomes.
- Experience launching products or services that required regulatory, clinical, and technical alignment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. payer workflows and contracting, particularly related to Medicare Advantage, commercial payers, and employer clients.
- Demonstrated success in 0-to-1 product development, including rapid prototyping, go-to-market readiness, and post-launch scaling.
- Experience selecting and integrating vendors supporting virtual care, population health, or clinical documentation.
- Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership ability—you know how to synthesize complex information and get things done.
Preferred Qualifications
- Located in Central or Eastern Time Zone state in US
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics or related quantitative field
- Experience leading hyper growth products or marketplaces within a startup environment
