Position Summary
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. The position develops vision, mission and robust positioning and its roadmap for the product based on inputs and insights from internal and external stakeholders, market research, etc.
The position works closely with all the relevant functions, such as Sales, Med Affairs + Market Access, RA, IT, to ensure in-depth, well-rounded launch plans much in advance to raise launch readiness as well as short-term and long-term commercialization success of the product post launch.
The position is also responsible for forecasting via various market insights, intelligence and market analysis, which shall be tracked on a regular basis to achieve timely PDCs.
The position identifies the key benefits and value propositions of the product, i.e. where/how to win, which will lead to a robust marketing strategy, planning and executions. Marketing will also drive sales activities from Brand Plan strategic imperatives and key tactics.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Define the product strategy and roadmap from pre-launch to post launch
Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to LOE.
Write the business case for investment and gain internal approval.
Propose a product marketing/launch plan and budget and then deliver against it
Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant science & technology and the competition
Develop core positioning and messaging for the product
Monitor, analyze, report and improve product performance in the field.
Identify and strategize where opportunities lie
Commission market and competitor research
Promote and educate the product to sales teams through sales training sessions,
Plan and hold customer events, webinars, newsletters, or alike
Plan and execute effective key congress management
Develop effective marketing communication materials and tools
Deliver regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue forecasts
Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 8+ years of related upstream and downstream marketing and/or product management work experience in pharmaceuticals and/or diagnostic (e.g. oncology, genetic testing or preventive screening) or pharmaceutical industry is necessary, oncology or specialty highly preferred
Multiple new product launch experience is essential (minimum two to three)
Strong command of English both in verbal and written
Ability to work and communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment partnering with external and internal stakeholders demonstrating achievements of and influences on the business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries and seniorities without direct reporting relationships in a hybrid working environment (some remote and some in-person)
Strong business acumen and ability to identify customer or market insights based on market research and datasets to translate and develop effective strategies and tactics
Familiar with start-up working environment, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
Comfortable with 10-20% travel, primarily domestic destinations
Advanced skills using productivity platforms such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Productivity software
AI & Digital Fluency
- Demonstrate curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to critically evaluate and responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of work.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.
