About the role:
The FP&A Director is a strategic finance partner to regional leadership, responsible for driving financial planning, performance management, decision support across AMEA. This role supports the Head of Finance, AMEA, in leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes while providing actional insights to optimize business performance and align with corporate objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the AMEA financial planning cycle, including 3-year Long Range Plan, annual budget, and rolling forecasts (LE1-LE3)
- Review consolidated AMEA P&L and key business performance metrics with senior management and key stakeholders. Partner with Rest of AMEA (AMEA excluding Japan) business leaders and AMEA product vertical leaders on weekly revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and market-level performance
- Provide insights on actual vs budget, actual vs forecast, and key operational KPIs
- Identify and quantify business risks and opportunities, including 5Q rolling revenue forecasts
- Act as a key liaison with US Finance on revenue recognition, US GAAP compliance, reporting requirement
- Support in executive reporting materials preparation, including Quarterly Business Reviews and leadership presentations
- Drive alignment of financial targets, metrics, and resource allocation with corporate strategy
- Oversee financial systems processes, including budget and forecast uploads into Hyperion EPBCS
- Evaluate pricing strategies, discount structures, and commercial initiatives
- Develop financial models to assess new business opportunities and strategic investments
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and support efficiency initiatives
- Lead and develop FP&A team capabilities as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CA preferred
- 10-15 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- Prior experience supporting regional business operations
- Strong knowledge of financial planning processes, forecasting and performance management
- Experience working with US GAAP and corporate reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (e.g. Hyperion/Oracle EPBCS)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) is advantageous

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.
