Position Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master – IT Infrastructure Engineering
Location: Hyderabad, India Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
Guardant Health is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our dynamic IT Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is pivotal in coordinating complex infrastructure initiatives, driving Agile execution, and ensuring delivery of high-impact projects across data center, campus, and cloud environments.
As a project leader, you will be instrumental in guiding project delivery, managing Agile ceremonies, and enabling engineering teams to execute with clarity and efficiency. This position demands advanced expertise in the Atlassian platform, including Jira, JSM, Jira Product Discovery, Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence along with a deep understanding of how to drive alignment across technical and business teams in a highly collaborative environment.
You will serve as a key partner to both the Infrastructure Engineering, IT Service Desk teams and the IT PMO, helping align execution with enterprise priorities and ensuring that outcomes are delivered with precision, quality, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Agile & Scrum Facilitation
● Lead bi-weekly sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives across multiple infrastructure engineering squads.
● Support Product Owners and technical leads in maintaining clear, prioritized backlogs and sprint-ready stories.
● Foster Agile best practices across teams and facilitate continuous improvement in delivery cadence and collaboration.
Project Delivery & Execution
● Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle across multiple infrastructure domains, from planning and scope definition to execution and closure.
● Collaborate with the IT PMO to integrate Infrastructure Engineering deliverables into global IT and enterprise program roadmaps.
● Track milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and blockers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Atlassian Tooling & Governance
● Own and administer Jira projects, JSM, Advanced Roadmaps, dashboards, filters, and reporting structures that support team-level and portfolio-level visibility.
● Leverage Jira Product Discovery to capture, refine, and prioritize incoming initiatives and stakeholder requests.
● Maintain and curate Confluence documentation, status pages, and internal portals for team transparency and alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Act as the primary coordination point between Infrastructure Engineering, Security, DevOps, PMO, and business partners.
● Ensure clear and consistent stakeholder communication regarding project health, resource planning, and key decisions.
● Provide structured, data-driven updates to leadership and project sponsors on timelines, risks, and delivery confidence.
Qualifications

- ● 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Scrum Master role within IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or enterprise systems environments.
● Advanced proficiency with Atlassian Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence.
● Proven experience facilitating Agile delivery for multiple concurrent teams, with a strong grasp of Scrum and hybrid project methodologies.
● Certification in Scrum Mastery (CSM, PSM) or Project Management (PMP, PMI-ACP) is strongly preferred.
● Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects with distributed teams and complex interdependencies.
● Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
● Familiarity with IT domains such as networking, cloud platforms (AWS), security, and data center operations is a strong plus. -
