Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the operational functions of the pathology business, working closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Sales Operations, and Pathology Account Executives (PAEs). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is eager to contribute to both marketing and business operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contract Management Support:
Collaborate with Legal and pathology laboratories to draft and execute laboratory services agreements, ensuring compliance and timely turnaround. - Contract Request Submission:
Initiate and manage contract workflows by submitting requests through IronClad, tracking progress and addressing any delays or issues. - Stakeholder Coordination:
Work with PAEs to gather necessary business, clinical, and operational information to support the execution of laboratory services agreements. - Event Logistics & Coordination:
Partner with Speaker Bureau administrator in Marketing Operations to manage speaker program logistics, including contract negotiation for venue, food and beverages, and other logistic support as needed. - Sales Operations Support:Support broader sales operations initiatives and projects as assigned, including reporting, data collection, and cross-functional process improvement, event planning and administrative duties
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- At least 2 years of project management or operational experience
- At least 2 years of pathology lab experience, either in operations or on the bench
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits team needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn proprietary software
quickly - Healthcare experience is a plus
- Based in the Bay Area is a plus
Additional Information
Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $110,000. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
