Job Description
The Sales Enablement Manager will play a critical role in empowering our sales team to succeed once they transition out of onboarding and into active selling. This individual will be responsible for building and executing post-onboarding enablement strategies, ensuring seamless adoption and usage of our sales tools and platforms. Through close collaboration with Product, Customer Experience, and Sales Operations, the Sales Enablement Manager will ensure the field is fully equipped with the resources, knowledge, and guidance needed to maximize their productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, technology platforms, and the importance of continuous field engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy to support field sales effectiveness post-onboarding.
- Drive the adoption, optimization, and usage of our sales tools and platforms to maximize field productivity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the field regarding our tools and best practices once Account Executives transition out of training and into active selling.
- Educate the field on the effective usage of our tools through virtual or in-person training sessions and by creating support materials, user guides, and instructional videos.
- Provide timely resources to Sales by collaborating closely with Product, Customer Experience, and Sales Operations to stay aligned on launches, feature updates, and new initiatives requiring field training or enablement pull-through.
- Continuously monitor and interpret data related to sales activities to identify gaps and delivery resources when and where they are needed.
Track and report on enablement KPIs including tool adoption rates, sales productivity improvements and field support activity, providing regular insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, field sales support or related roles, preferably in diagnostics, biotech, pharma or healthcare industries.
- Proven ability to support Sales organizations through content, technology, and enablement processes.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM workflows, dashboards, and reports.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline required.
Additional Information
Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $129,600 to $178,200. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
