Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Analyst II to join our team and support the Real-World Evidence (RWE) programs. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of HEOR and contribute to a range of projects focused on outcomes research and healthcare claims analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in healthcare outcomes research to support evidence generation that informs reimbursement strategies, payer decision-making, and the broader scientific community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to cross-functional team with responsibility for ensuring the successful development and deployment of the Guardant RWE programs
  • Contribute to the execution of observational research
  • Analyze data within standard statistical software packages such as R, SAS and prepare materials for presentation to internal and external specialist and generalist audiences
  • Manage large database extractions using SQL coding
  • Contribute to the preparation and critique of academic scientific publications

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a university degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.
  • Degree in relevant field of study (health economics, epidemiology, statistics, mathematics or other relevant)
  • Evidence of original scientific contribution to the field of health economics and/or outcomes research preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of real-world data and experience in observational research study design, execution and communication
  • Knowledge of real-world data and experience in observational research study design, execution and communication
  • Able to adapt to novel methodological approaches to outcomes research in a rapidly advancing field of study

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000 to $118,800. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
