Job Description

As the Digital Marketing Director, you will lead strategic initiatives to enhance brand presence, drive lead generation, and improve customer engagement. Your leadership will play a vital role in aligning marketing strategies with overall business goals, while fostering collaboration with the executive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital engagement, promotion, and content strategies for the Shield portfolio.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of digital marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and optimize digital media plans for both consumers and healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring efficient budget use to promote Shield™.
  • Advance digital MarTech solutions to create an integrated digital ecosystem targeting various customer segments.
  • Design and implement CRM and marketing automation strategies, including customer segmentation, to boost conversion and engagement.
  • Establish and enhance customer experiences across multiple channels, using a test-and-learn approach to optimize customer journeys.
  • Manage multi-channel lead generation initiatives in collaboration with sales, including paid media, content marketing, and social media.
  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Refine KPIs and optimize budgets and campaigns for paid media (Display, SEM).
  • Lead agency teams to execute content and campaign strategies while managing client relationships and driving performance.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to automate KPI reporting and standardize campaign measurement for both consumer and HCP campaigns.
  • Inspire and coach the digital marketing team to achieve peak performance.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of digital marketing, media, and social marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in marketing operations, ecommerce, or a related field, with a focus on digital marketing strategy, execution, and analysis.
  • Proven track record in leading successful social media and digital marketing campaigns across platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and agencies.
  • Expertise in Paid Media (Display, SEM); Adobe Creative Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing MarTech stacks and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot).
  • Experience in customer segmentation, marketing workflows, automation, and customer journey design.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or field related to job duties.
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer and HCP marketing.
  • Marketing experience in a diagnostics and/or life sciences organization.
  • Prior experience managing media is a plus

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or field related to the essential duties of the job.
  • MBA (or equivalent) is preferred

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $172,000 to $232,200. The range does not include benefits and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
