Meet the team:

The System BIM Modeler/ Drafter will lead the production of a library of proprietary Glydways Infrastructure 3D digital assets; will create sophisticated, detailed 2D documents to communicate the civil infrastructure design intent and provide assets contributing to a rendering process to illustrate the infrastructure and urban environments where the Glydways system proposed implementation will exist. This work will support the documentation, illustration and visual communication of the infrastructure planning concepts and preliminary designs for Glydways transit projects in collaboration with the commercial, system planning and engineering groups.

This position requires a creative, results-oriented individual to be able to participate in a diverse, multi-discipline team and to directly contribute to the design, refinement and organization of the infrastructure elements through daily interaction (written and verbal) contributing to strong collaborative relationships among the Glydways team.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound designs; be flexible, well organized, accountable and dependable.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create 3D digital models and scenes of the Glydways System, Infrastructure, Architecture and Vehicles expanding and complementing existing content, assets
Create a library of 3D assets in Revit, or other appropriate platform.
Create Detailed Illustrative Plans and Drawings of Stations and System Facilities
Quickly create and illustrate concepts from a variety of inputs to photorealistic renderings using Sketchup, Unreal Engine, or other comparable photorealistic tools.
Strong Photoshop Skills in producing high quality renderings and publication graphics
Architecture, Planning or Civil Design background, preferred
Manage and coordinate inputs from Commercial, System Planning and Engineering groups
Support documentation of Glydways Infrastructure elements and scenes in presentations, promotional materials and system catalogs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrable experience using 3D software to illustrate urban design and structural concepts (i.e. Sketchup, Revit, Rhino, Autocad, etc.)
Demonstrable experience in creating and managing a library of parametric assets incorporating material and cost attributes
Familiarity with architectural, civil and structural engineering principles
Skilled in utilizing Google Suite applications for collaborative work and publication
University-level Degree from an accredited school in Digital Art, Industrial Design, Engineering, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture with +3-5 years experience or Masters Degree +1yr

Salary Range ($60,000 - $85,000 USD per year)
