What is this role about?
The Clinical Training Partner will be part of the care team and is responsible for overseeing the training, development, and performance of the Medical Assistant Partner staff across all Gather locations. This individual ensures Medical Assistants are properly trained and working within their scope of practice while maintaining high standards of clinical operations. They also maintain hands-on clinical skills by functioning as a Medical Assistant when needed to support patient care.
What are some of the responsibilities for this role?
Training
· Collaborate with Operation Leads on hiring of MAs
· Onboard and train MAs
· Manage and track annual MA competencies, providing feedback to Operation Leads
· Create, implement, and refine protocols, workflows, and policies that support clinical operations
· Roll out new workflows and competencies to existing MAs
Lab and Clinic Management
· Train MAs on laboratory equipment Quality Control procedures
· Monthly audits of each laboratory to ensure Quality Controls have been performed adequately
· Collaborating with Operation Leads to coordinate laboratory and clinic equipment maintenance (ex. EKGs, spirometers, O2 tanks)
· Provide Quality Assurance for standardization of room set up
Inventory Oversight
· Train MAs on inventory system
· Inventory control checks for organization and compliance
· Collaborating with Operation Leads to maintain inventory workflows
Compliance
· Conduct quality checks of MA documentation to assess for thoroughness
· Auditing MA workflows to monitor scope of practice
Clinical & Patient Care
· Function as a Medical Assistant in times of need

What are the requirements for the position?
· High school diploma or G.E.D
· Minimum of five years of clinical experience
· If a nurse, active license (such as LPN, or RN) in state of Massachusetts
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical trainer, lead or supervisor
· Experience with EHRs, preferably Athena, and basic office tools such as email, Outlook calendar, etc.
What are the preferred skills for the position?
· If Medical Assistant, certification or registration strongly preferred
· Proficiency in building processes and improving clinical workflows
· Experience with training diverse groups of healthcare professionals and performing competency assessments
· Past experience with inventory management processes and systems
· Knowledge of lab quality oversight duties and experience being responsible for lab QA
· Strong verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills in English
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently with moderate supervision
· Willingness to work with complex populations to resolve medical issues quickly
· Strong prioritization, flexibility, and adaptability skills
